I’m going to test Zero to 20 in a LIVE format.
As part of my research for my consulting practice, I found myself in a series of informal coaching 1:1s with people in my network who were asking a lot of the same questions, so it made sense to centralize those questions and get the answers to as wide an audience as possible.
Early-stage startups are tough, and I’m yet to discover an early startup navigation playbook. That said, I successfully helped evolve my last 3 startups from product-market-fit to scale. (See chart below).
However, surviving this evolution is no mean feat, and prospering is even rarer! If someone told me that if I fast-forwarded to 2022 the probability of surviving from stage 2 through stage 11+ on this continuum would be less than 1%, I might have chosen a path with greater probabilities of success.
Somehow I survived and prospered, but not without a shit-ton of scars. I’m metaphorically covered in scars, and it’s the lessons from those scars you see me share on LinkedIn and in my newsletter.
However, there’s something more powerful when it’s shared live, and parlayed with someone else’s situation.
Test Format of “Zero to 20 LIVE”
I’m going to start with a limited number of attendees, likely groups of 5-10 people to test and iterate the content, format, style and recording.
This will enable the session to feel like an actual coaching session.
The initial goal is to provide an intimate setting and high-quality content format that speaks candidly to the challenges faced by any early-stage VPs of Sales.
However, the intention is to invite founders and potentially VCs and ultimately use it as a forum to optimize the early-stage sales environment.
I’ll one-way record the discussion, meaning only I will be recorded and all attendees and what they said will never be revealed in order to ensure we create and maintain a safe space at all times.
How to register your interest
I’m offering paid subscribers to my newsletter priority access to this test format, and my intention is to incentivize anyone that takes part in these early sessions with discounts on the final format as a reward.
